Beyond the Book: Under one Rock

Have you ever peeked under a rock? A whole community of creatures live there! Join a naturalist at the Nature Center for a reading of the children’s book Under One Rock. Then head out to the woods with your guide where we will look for worms, bug, slugs and other ugs and learn the secret art of worm mustarding!
- Suggested for families with children 4- 8 yrs.
- Book reading begins promptly at your selected time
- Check in at the Nature Center
- 24 mos + must be registered to attend.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- Hike is off paved trails and not stroller friendly.
Books, like a walk in the woods, can be an adventure and an escape. They open a new world to the reader – a world that can spark interest in the natural world and fuel imagination.
